UA flight 3, ORD-OGG-KOA-ORD. I offer the OGG-KOA leg as the shortest scheduled 777 flight in the world. It's regularly flown in :16, takeoff to touchdown.

Does anyone know of any other super-short flights flown by the 777? Or any other widebodies?

Jeff

How far is AUH-DXB? Emirates once routed some flights to and from BEY and AMM via AUH.

China Southern flew HKG-CAN with a 777 for a few years and that's also 84 miles. I flew on B-2062 in Mar98 and the flight was 21 minutes !!!!

What about RG's AMS-CDG-AMS route?
Sometimes it's operated by a T7.

Hi !

AMS-CDG is 248mi and MRU-RUN is 145 so quite a bit longer than OGG-KOA, although UA does not sell seats on that section.

Shortest 777 flight

UA's flight from IAD-ADW 33 miles

They flew this the day that President Clinton's Library opened in Arkansas. It was chartered to fly the press and V.I.P's down to Little Rock.

Yeah, I did it once on a UA777. MIA-EZE Rerouted through MVD as EZE was on one of its foggy days, thanks to the beautiful Matanza River.
Really a short hop over the pond.
