Hi guys, a new tournament is to be organised....that of which is your favourtie short haul airplane ......some can be short to medium haul in some cases but I consider them to be short haul.I have chosen 8 of the to start. The fixtures are names a) to d) and till monday you have to chose from each fixture which your prefer. The winners will advance to semi finals

Then will follow the medium haul and finally the long haul...this is not meant to be an A vs B thread

The chosen planes are the

727
DC-9
A319
F100
737-800
TU-134
Embraer 170
BAe 146

I made a draw and the fixtures are the following

a)727 vs TU 134

b)DC 9 vs 737-800

c)BAe 146vs E 170

d)A319 vs F100

my choice is

a)727
b)73H
c) E170
d)A319

These are short haul planes? Dash-8 CRJ-200 ERJ-145 those are short haul planes to me. 737-800 fly trans continental flights?

Anyway from your list I would chose.

DC-9
F100
737-800
BAe 146

I would have had
Dash-8
CRJ-200
B1900D
ERJ-145.

73H is also considered a short haul according to the A.net plane presentation...my list is non exhaustive but in order to correctly do quarter, semi flinals and final I had to choose only 8 of them....plus if I have too many airplanes the tournament will take too long and don't forget medium and long haul planes will follow. What I suggest to do is nominate planes for the medium and long haul tournaments

I'm sorry to say but some of you have voted for two airplanes in a same fixture.....you have to vote out one in each fixture...however since this may not have been clear....I'll still count all your votes

so far it goes like that

727 vs. TU 134 5-0

DC9 vs. 738 5-3

BAe146 vs. E170 4-5

A319 vs. F100 5-5

looks as though the 727has a wheel set in semi finals and that the A319 F100 will be a tough fight
