I would like to know what your smoothest flight route experience was and if you can, include the airline.

Thanks, Garri767

DL DFW-MEM in a brand new (at the time) 738. Was such a fun flight. The sun was setting on a perfectly clear summer night as we took off from DFW, and btw this was the first time I'd ever flown with any kind of IFE (up until then all of my flying had been done on NW and AA domestic), Which was cool, but the view was incredible. Cruising over north texas at FL 370 you could see every detail in perfect clarity, look down on small town little league baseball games cause the field lights were on.

Then a nice smooth approach into MEM to end the flight. I put the DL in my username because of that flight. Oh and the flight from COS-DFW earlier that day was on a Delta Widget 722.

Well, I can remember my worst...

I was flying ORD-MSY on a UA 737-300, and we hit turbulence so bad one of the F/As had to sit in the aisle next to me and hold onto the armrest.

Smoothest I can remember was ATL-ORD on an Air Wiskey CRJ-200, only because the ride was decent, and in an RJ, that means it was very smooth.  Wink

Ones that made an impression on me. LAX-LHR Virgin A340 best ever, and quiet. DFW-ATL Delta DC-8-71, yes, a long time ago. Several L-1011 rides come to mind.

I don't understand everything I don't know about this.

Call my crazy, but I actually enjoy turbulance. ALOT. Something about it I just find really fun! lol. Back to the thread --> My smoothest flight would have had to been one of the DL 767 flights from JAX to ATL. That route on the B767 seems to go really smoothe almost all the time.

Coming in on approach to BRU on a DL 767. It was so smooth and quiet... it sounded like we were sitting at the gate. Incredible.
