Has this topic been done, I don't know but in the spirit of the Travel Channel the question about what airline has the finest Lav facilities can now be solved!

COA764,

It would have to be the Lav on an LH 744 upstairs in First Class, it has a great big window. I like this very much, gives you something to look at other than the door lock!  Smile

Kind regards,

QM001 (167 Air Malawi)

I wish there was still a flying boat service on the African Lakes!

The F class bathroom on JL's 744 (one of them) behind the L1 door. Its got a window looking outside and the interior is red. It looks like a bathroom in some hotel lobby. That's how nice it was.

SAS - The J Class toilet on the A340. It is huge. Double windows, and the toilet is at an angle, so there is loads of space. I was going to get a photo of it on my return journey (CPH-NAR-SYD), but due to bad weather got rerouted on QF via SIN.

Hope the A380 has big bathrooms, rather than the portaloos that some airlines have.

The bathrooms on the CRJs can be interesting. Its always fun trying to put your head against the ceiling for balance during turbulence. Man those bathrooms are half the size of a closet.

CO 777 in J class has a huge double sized (wheel chair accessable) lav on the left side of the aircraft. It is awesome to have some room!

Probably In business class on Lufthansa. It was roomy, had a full sized mirror, and was really clean. But i never really pay attention to lav's!

On all the domestic flights they all seem pretty much the same to me. I have yet to fly Int'l, though.
