So what aspect of aviation do you like the most?, is it the big heavies departing from LHR or any international airport, the fact that you can be so close and be a part of history witnessing these machines come and go, or is it just the sheer thrill of seeing something new you havent seen before.
For me the best part of aviation is going somewhere new and seeing something, wether its a airline or aircraft or even a airport that ive never seen before, also meeting up with a few A.net members is cool too, although I rarely know if someone is from this site or not.

The best part of aviation is working on an aircraft and then watching it take off knowing that you were responsible for it. Even better on helicopters as it just hovers a few feet in front of you. Then you realise that all the weight in front of you is just held up by air. Amazing.
I've flow airliners, helicopters and little Cessnas, but the best thrill of all was when I used to fly hang gliders. The feeling I got when I used to land on the exact spot I chose (down to the inch) after a long flight was fantastic, there's nothing like it.
