Hi All,
I'm in desperate need of cheap flight to Europe. I can leave April 21/22/23 or 24th, and return May 1/2 or 3rd. Where can I get flights under $750.
My origin can be any airport in Washington DC area including PHL or even EWR (if I have to) and my destination can be eather WAW, KRK or RZE.
Please help me.

The FI website is showing very low fares BWI - FRA for your dates, especially given that it is very short notice, in the region of $450. Wizzair have reasonably priced flights then going HHN - WAW. There are probably several other cheaper, non-avaition options getting from Frankfurt into Warsaw.

Guys I really appriciate your help. That FI sounds very fair. With taxes and airport fees it cost only $450 RT BWI-FRA-BWI.
Flights from FRA to Poland are very high. I have no idea why. Do you think I could drive from FRA to KRK in 12 hrs each way? And how much I would pay for the gas and rental car at FRA. Is it worth it?
I think you might have some pretty unrealistic expectations. The published tariff is in the $1300 range, and $650-750 is just about where the consolidators are.
Anything less, you're just spinning your wheels on such short notice.

Try the travel section of the Washington or Baltimore Sunday papers (see your local Library) and look for ads for consolidators. If you were under 26, then I would suggest trying Student Travel Assoc (STA) with offices in major USA cities, like here in NYC. Maybe a cheap fare to someplace in Germany, Amsterdam, maybe even Paris, then take a train, using a pass or a series of passes to/from your planned destination. Try the Eurail websites for further info on European train passes.

According to the bahn.de site there appears to be trains with one stop going from Frankfurt to Warsaw, journey time of just over 10 hours. If you can't find a good low-cost flight (I'm not too familiar with what's available in that part of Europe I'm afraid...) then this may be an option.

This is a bit misleading - as quite a few people have already stated above, it's very easy to get to that part of Europe on these dates for a lot less. Yes, just looking at flights going between the exact cities mentioned costs more, but if a flight to FRA is available for $450 then it will be very easy to reach the final destination of WAW for less than $750.

Quoting Jalalabad (Reply 3): If you want to connect in LHR, I found:
IAD-LHR on BMI for 168.00 (Apr 24 - May 2).
on travel.yahoo.com. Put in IAD and LHR, and select that your dates are flexible. Those dates are available.
Hm, I guess that fare isn't actually 168, sorry.
If you are considering april 25th at all, there is an Austrian fare on there that does work, IAD-KRK for 585.45 including taxes. April 25th-May 3. (Choose the first option on flexible dates, it's 401)

You should be able to drive over, but tell the rental companies you're going to Poland, because there are usually several car categories that they won't allow on international rentals... and there used to be quite a few extra categories that were not allowed into Poland - not sure if that's still the case.
But I'd also recommend trying to catch a train - after flying over here, it'll be much more comfortable than having to get behind a steering wheel for several hours...

my new favorite LCC, http://www.skyeurope.com, is currently offering flights at .99 GBP from STN to WAW/KRK. Check them out for the dates you want to travel.
Flights from the U.S. to Europe are often cheapest to LON. Last summer, I went from NYC to BUD by going JFK-LHR and LTN-BUD on Easyjet. I saved about $200 versus flying a legacy Euro carrier directly to BUD.

I found this. It's slightly over your budget + requires one night in London and change of airports butif you're really desperate then I guess it's not that bad and definitely less inconvenient than driving accross half of Europe.

Wow Guys,
You are finding pretty good deals for me.
PA110 I'm not a wizard and I can't predict medical emergencies. Also I can't afford more than $750 right now.
So far I have made reservation with Icelandair to FRA for $423 RT. I have to purchase it by Thursday to have that price.
Now my other question is: How do I get from Frankfurt Main airport to Frankfurt Hahn airport??? Is there any bus or train that I can take??? How long is the trip.

There is a bus service between FRA and HHN, check the HHN website for more information.

Try US Airways. US recently has been having good fares to Europe. (Hell anywhere as a matter of fact.)

Hey Guys,
I would like to thank again to all of you for your great help. Thanks to you I was able to get tickets on the dates I wanted, routing BWI-REK-FRA-PRG-KRK-PRG-FRA-REK-BWI for $698. I don't have to change airport in Frankfurt.
The only sideeffect is that I will have to spend a night at FRA on the way to USA. Thats not bad.
Once again, THANKS!
Rafal
PS - Patrick, I would like to appologize one more time for being complete ass.
I found a JFK-MXP-WAW-MXP-EWR for $679 (taxes and fees included) departing on Apr 24 and returning Mar 3. I also checked from IAD and it was not much more at $697 (IAD-VIE-WAW-VIE-IAD).
