Sorry to post this question here but other forums get limited replies and I need feedback asap.
I will be traveling in C- Class with United Airlines this summer (LHR-IAD). I was wondering if anyone who has flown the 767-300 in C- Class could tell me which is the seat with the most legroom. I have heard that 5C/D have more legroom because of the bulkhead, is that the truth or just just rumor?
Seatexpert.com tells me those two seats have the most legroom. However, I have seen the photos of the cabin and the space seems more limited. Can anyone clarify?

Yes 5C and 5D do have a little extra legroom (often times I have seen families with children there). In general the first four rows of business on the 767 are all good (Rows 5-8). I have been farther back and the yapping from the galley is annoying, and also I don't think that the last row fully reclines. Have a great trip.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

I have flown in UA C class a few times on a 763. 5C/D probably are the best, however 5E/F are also good. Flew in 9C/D on an overnight from IAD-GRU and found it to be equally good. If you get an equipment switch to a 777 then 8H/J are in the separate front section of the C cabin and is very quiet.
Enjoy your trip. Also, there are 3 Red Carpet Clubs at IAD, the one closest to Gate D5 (I think) is the best one.

I have flown twice in United Business however all flights were on T7's. Unfortunately for various reasons I have to take that specific flight (767 equiped) because I am continuing onto Miami and then Peru. The 767 was the only option, if flexibility was not a premium I would have chosen a 777/ 747 flight.

I've flown on the 763 ORD-LHR in C and any seat in row five is good. The "rumor" is true: 5 C/D are a little farther back from the bulkhead, giving it more room. However the seats are a little narrower than on the 772 but the 2-2-2 configuration is nicer. Was quite a pleasant flight: okay dinner, good IFE, good continental breakfast prior to arrival, friendly service topped with an on-time arrival. I give them a 10
