I am considering to fly a number of routes to and from HKG (SIN, DPS, CGK) on CX and I was wondering which seats they have installed on the planes serving these routes. Depending on the route, there are different planes used on different days:
If there was any chance I can sample their famous F class seat that they are using on intercont routes to Europe as well, that would be great. On which plane would I find that?

Are you saying that you are simply going to take a flight, no any destination, purely to see the inflight product? Geez, I wish i was in the same boat.
I also agree with N1120A... only the B744 guarantees you a first class.

HKG-DPS is also flown with the 747, but only sold as 2 class. They usually reserve the F cabin for MPC elite members, but if you're lucky and flying J, you can sometimes get one of the 12 seats at check-in. Obviously you get a great seat, but only J service. Only one HKG-SIN return flight a day with F on the 747.
If you're flying on your own in the 747 in F, I'd recommend row 2 (A or K). Row 1 is also OK, but because you're in the nose of the Jumbo, A & K are that much closer together (although the upside is that you almost get to look forward out of the plane due to the curve!). If travelling with a partner, rows 3 & 4 have 2 middle seats next to each other (4 abreast).
If possible I'd try and ignore the 777 and take the A330s. Greater chance of getting the upgraded J class with AVOD.
