Hello!
Last January when I was flying back from GRU to LHR, my flight was overbooked (RG) and I was offered a flight via MAD, in C class.
First leg was very good. A RG MD-11, ex-LX, very clean, service was great, seats were nice and tidy.
Second leg, MAD-LHR, was terrible. As my flight was delayed, I missed the first flight connection (BA) and they moved me to an IB flight.
What a terrible flight!
Packed, A/C was very smelly inside and worse(!!) I had to pay for the food.
Was that correct? Since when IB is charging for food?
I spent EURO 9,50 for a small ham and cheese sandwich and a beer.
Now, I am flying IB again (LHR-MAD) end of May and I would like to know if I will be paying for the food again or not.
Shall I bring my on snacks?
Shall I choose BA next time as they both are from OneWorld?

Even water costs $$$ on IB intra-Europe. Flew BCN-LHR and was surprised that they even charged for water.
