So, of all the slogans and commercials out there, whats the best one/your favorite?

Even though it's not an airline, I love Boeing's "forever new fronteirs".
I also think WN's "ding", "you are now free to move about the country" works well. The commercials are usually funny, too.
For commercials, I like United's animated ones, they're pretty well done, and the music is classic.

The best ones would have to be Continental's and Southwest's
"Work hard fly right" its serious
"Free to move around the country" its clever

Some ones that could be better are:

United's "Its time to fly" Why?
Lufthansa's "Theres no better way to fly" Oh really?

I like American's commercials when they come up with interesting sayings for why the guy has to get home, I especially like it because they filmed three of the commercials at LAX!!

My favourite: JetBlue's "We like you, too." Awwwww. It's nice to be liked.
I like some of AA's "we know why you fly" print ads.
"Work Hard, Fly Right" is a good one, too.

The "ding" is cute once, then it starts to grind on the nerves...like so much of Southwest's marketing. (About the 47th time their website insists on capitalizing the word "customers", I want to throw my monitor at a picture of Herb. However, that new anti-Wright Amendment website they have is very well done.)

Those new LH ads we have in the subway..."All for this one moment..." are absolutely awful. They manage to be pretentious and overly sappy at the same time. Lufthansa just does not understand marketing to Americans. Actually, it's something a lot of German companies don't get - look at Deutsche Bank's ads in the financial media or on CNBC.

United’s television commercials set to the music of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue are my favorite.
I wonder how much United is paying Robert Redford to do those voice-overs?

My favourite adverts at the moment are from Frontier. Look Penguins  laughing
http://www.frontierairlines.com/about/commercials.asp

The current Jetblue series that are online are interesting talking more about the airline flying experience instead of trying to be cute with talking animals.
http://www.jetblue.com/havefun/media/media.asp

Deltas Good Goes Around is a really slick advert I just think the concept got missed on a lot of people.
http://www.delta.com/home/goodgoesaround/index.jsp?banpg=simplifares

Even Airtran have a batch online. Haven't had a chance to download them all yet but the one I saw "Shipping" just seemed a bit cheap to me, there was a point but it just didn't seem as though it had the Delta flare.
http://www.airtran.com/aboutus/ads/index.jsp

If anyone has links to these adverts then I am interested to watch them. I just can't turn on the TV and watch adverts from United, American or Southwest on my local TV.

Yay, penguins!

Forgot one - I love that AirTran ad where the manager fires the guy over the phone, and then they cut to the meeting where the manager is babbling about high profits and how important their people are to them...and the fired guy (having taken advantage of AirTran's low fares) comes out of nowhere and body-slams the pompous git.

I think that one of the coolest slogans around is:

"World Wide reliability"

I´m not sure if it´s from DHL or Fedex but it is very cool,

Can anyone help me with this??

Who´s slogan is it?

Czech Airlines just launched an ad campaign also with TV commercials. If you're interested here's link to both 60sec. as well as 30sec. version of the spot:

(it's only in Czech since the ad campaign is targeted on the domestic market)

I think its for promotional purposes. On several occassions, recently, I've heard the pursers plug the slogan into their annoucements.
E.G.:
"We would like to welcome you to Chicago's O'Hare airport, where the local time is 3:35 pm. They next time you realize IT'S TIME TO FLY we hope you'll think of us at United again"

Definitely the UAL commercials. They are simple, touching, and aren't Big Brotherish (aka American's "we know why YOU fly). "Interview" is my fav... I love the scene after he jumps up in the air... the shot of the 777 and then the inside of the cabin. That part with that music is amazing.

Exactly what I like best, especially the ones from early 90's. There was one showing a UAL aircraft flying high above... the view was from a window and a little kid was pretending to hold the airplane(silhouette) with two fingers, as if he was the one making the aircraft fly... Rhapsody in Blue playing in the background.

Also enjoy Frontier's animated ads. They are pretty funny.

I liked the BA TV Commercial a number of years ago that showed people in the desert coming together to make a giant face, with a tune by Malcolm Mclaren called Rock Aria. I really liked the tune more than the ad, although it was a very good ad; I believe it won all sorts of awards.

Monty Python's Flying Circus has nothing to do with aviation, except perhaps for Management personnel.
