I use AA. AA usually has cheaper prices from MSP to Europe. However, I'd fly on NW if they had better IFE on their DC10's. Switch to the A330's already!!!

My opinion, in order:

1) DL - Good service, good hubs, transcon widebodies, great west coast to Europe connections, sentimental value as lots of my "firsts" were on DL.

2) UA - Great Asia and London service, good hubs, great staff.

3) US - Good staff, Airbus planes are nice, not very convenient from west coast (hopefully this will change).

4) NW - Planes old, not the most comfortable, hubs aren't most convenient, good Asia and AMS service.

5) AA - Rude F/A's and staff, MD-80s very boring and no IFE, crappy hubs.

6) CO - Very uncomfortable coach seats, sardine-can planes, IAH and EWR aren't very convenient domestic hubs geographically, as far as CLE, what's the point?

those are the ones I have been on, so can't judge the others... If you count America West as "mainland" airline as well, they were pretty good, but I only did AW Express on the new CRJ900...

Hi,

Gotta be UA, simply cos of Channel 9, service may not be the best, F/A may not be the greatest; (but they are all beautiful, with the sunniest disposition and give the best service ever; (am flying UA next week and hoping for an upgrade)).

Without Channel 9 the flight seems to drag, without it you rely on the innacurate map on on your PTV/Main screen or your Captain speaking to you every 3-4 hours.

This is simply a Trans - Atlantic, UK - US, and vice - versa, point of view of an occasional flyer.

1-US (even better since they joined *A..)
2-QX (used to dead head a lot on QX PDX-YVR.. very cool crew)
3-AA (for their network.. )

But I must admit.. I've been dreaming to fly CO.. especially their 764...!!!
