Following the rejection of the EU Treaty in France and The Netherlands, the EU Treaty faces collapse, thus, the end of crossing borders within the EU could become a thing of the past without a Passport.
Will this affect you greatly?.
As a UK resident this represents a 20-30 mins delay at customs, and, maybe; a curtailment of duty free / tax exempt rights on tobacco and alcohol.
Time will tell what happens to the EU Rights and the Schengen Treaty, maybe one will survive without the other?.
Let me know your opinions.
