I know this site has many people that spot at LHR, and many people fly BA. So, can anyone get me some pictures of BA's world traveler class (economy) in the 747-400. If not, are they comfortable? Do they have PTV's? More comfortable than BA's 777 World Traveler? Looking foward to your reponses.

If it helps any, I flew BA main cabin on a 763 (whose seats did not have PTVs, but there was space for 'em!) and they were fairly comfortable! While BA isn't all that is used to be, the seats were just fine.

Thanks so much FLpuck6, and ILS! So, which is more comfortable, the 747-400 economy, or the 777-200 economy? Looking foward to your responses, and thanks again for all of the info (just for this, I will add both of you into my respected users list! )

I would think that the 777-200 economy would be more comfortable. It is a much more modernized aircraft than the 744 and one of the prides of the BA fleet. The seats have been ergonomically designed to "mold" to your body and provide you with great comfort. And, with the PTVs, I am sure that you will have a wonderful flight.

Louis, that second picture looks suspiciously like World Traveller Plus - there looks to be a pile of legroom there. Can you confirm?
I would admit to preferring the 747's World Traveller section over the 777's. Just find it a bit more comfortable, don't really know why.
