If you value your life fly BA! You know these russian aircraft and how dodgy they are!! Im joking!! Seriously, I would give aeroflot and the IL-96 a try. It would be a new experience and you get to fly on an aircraft that not many people have the opportunity to fly on.

Arriving at SVO is regarded as hell on earth. For that reason alone fly BA.

PROS & CONS
The Il-96 outweights any cons at all, but Aeroflot likes to swap equipment, in my limited experience. However, they probably won't swap out the Il. Today's flight was operated by RA-96010, which is configured F22/J40/Y173. My current Aeroflot summer timetable shows SU246 Saturdays at 11:00AM arriving at 17:35 as being operated by an Il-96. Good luck with your visa, BTW.
Ex-London SU244 on Monday, and Saturday leaving at 10:35 arriving at 5:25AM are shown as A321
and SU248 leaving Tuesday, Wednseday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday leaving at 22:45 arriving at 5:20 + 1 are shown as being A321
returning from Moscow
Saturday's SU245 @ 8:45 arriving at 9:35 is scheduled Il-96
Monday, Saturday SU582 @ 18:55 arriving at 19:55 is scheduled A321
All other days SU 247 @ 20:45 arriving at 21:45 is also scheduled as a 321
SU 243/244 and 241/242 are shown as EQV, but I'm not sure about the reliability of this timetable.
