Hi, I'll have about 6 hours layover at HKG next week (arriving by SQ1 6:30 am and leaving by SQ859 1:30 pm). I'm wondering if anyone can suggest what I can do during that time.

My preferred activity is to do some spotting and photography, but unless I'm mistaken, there's not a good location inside the terminal for a.net quality photography. Is that true? Is there any location outside the terminal that's accessible by walking?

Another option that I've been contemplating is to take the train to the city. I've been to Hong Kong a few times but not in the recent times (last time was in 1997 when they still flew into Kai Tak). Is this worth doing (considering I'll probably have only 2-3 hrs max there?
