That would be really cool actually. Even if you just get a cut out and you can put in seats and all that. Or buy the whole thing and get a field and put it in it. I would probably get either a 747 or that A320 that is the first one scrapped (I think???). Really anything I can find that still has paint on it.

Yes you can by parts of the planes. A couple of years ago, they were selling parts of the ex-TWA Convair jetliners that they chopped up after no one expressed any interest in them as intact airplanes. Plenty of places to go to obtain used airliners and parts. As for intact airliners, your best deals may come from abroad. I think the guy refitting the 727 as a house in Washington bought his from Greece. Even with the cost of flying the airplane halfway around the world and transporting it from the local airport, he paid less than what he'd have paid for one out a US storage yard.
