Hey there I am not familiar with the discount airlines in Europe and was looking for a one flight anytime between August 9-12. What kind of low-fare options do I have?

Easyjet have a daily flight beween Paris Orly and Madrid.

You can also get good fares with Iberia who have many flights between Orly and Madrid. I think Air France only fly from CDG to MAD.

My advice, check all the airlines on-line, as you can often get good fares with AR and IB.

Air Europa also fly between Paris and Madrid.

Long live Aer Lingus!

I would definitely try AR if its fares are not too expensive.

Next flights: MEX-MZT AM E90; TIJ-MEX AM 788

If you want a very cheap option to get to Spain from France, I will fly to BCN first and then to MAD. Vueling has a fare sale right now where you can get a one way flight CDG-BCN for 10 euros + tax = 32.97 Euros... then you can take the bus or get a cheap puente aereo flight...

I have flown them and they offer a very good service at very reasonable prices!!

If you really need to fly CDG/ORY-MAD one way, then U2 might be your best choice!

Quoting Rojo (Reply 4):
cheap puente aereo flight

Puente Aereo is anything but cheap. Normal fares for Puente Aereo are around €300. Remember that those are open tickets...no flight number, no dates, no time of departure and you use them whenever you want, so you pay for the convenience...it's like taking the bus.
However, there are "closed" flights or a few seats on some "Puente Aereo" flights that are sold as such. In this case you can find some good fares at times, but you have to be lucky. Anyway, I think that the airline that continuously offers the best fares between MAD and BCN would be Spanair.

It could be also interesting to try Vueling.

There are also a few non-Puente Aereo flights between BCN and MAD, fares starting at 19 Euro plus tax and handling fee per segment.

I bought a 7 euro ticket to Paris in March on Easy Jet, but most of the time I fly Air France and Air Europa which tend to be cheap. I would check Air Plus Comet for flights to Paris.

No Vueling No Party

I would only suggest you to look carefully to all the possibilities : the cheapest is often not the one everybody believe :

Some of my best friends live in Barcelona and they almost always fly AF when they come to Paris for visit, as AF is most of the time cheapest than Easy Jet or any other.
It could be the same for MAD.

They came to visit last October. For the dates they wanted, the ticket was 89€ with AF, 139€ with Easy Jet and 179€ with IB. Round trip and all taxes included.
Be also very careful to the restrictions applied with certain fares.
Easy jet seems very attractive sometimes but they give their fares without the taxes, and the various additional costs they charge for the reservations an payments on the web.

Try the website http://www.opodo.com they offer great deals.

I recommend you fly with AR from CDG to MAD. Their flights are by far the cheapest as most travelers are connecting to EZE.

Who says airports are boring places?!

AR flies the route daily at a fare of 141 oneway.
U2 flies on the 10,11 and 12th of August for 96 oneway (9th is more expensive)

Your choice...
