I like the "new" livery. BTW the B747-300 didnot get the new livery since all those planes are fased out.

I would call it a NEW livery, just an adjustment of the previous livery.

I like the new updated livery myself. The old one was great, but the new one is just fantastic.

I too prefer the "updated" livery. It's not that i don't like the old one , it's just my personal preferance.

The old livery hands down! The thicker band of darker shade of blue gave the planes character. The new livery is too much KLM Blue. Especially on a 747 or 777 (look above at the photos). What prompted the change in livery anyway? It's not a huge change... so why spend money on making such a small change? KLM is still defined by the same KLM Blue color.

Was the old livery ever painted on the 777? IIRC, it was not. Without having seen the 777 in the old livery, I can't really tell which livery is better for that plane.

Actually, I would have preferred the old livery but with a white belly.

I just think there is too much light blue on the new livery. The dark blue kinda broke the plane up in a proportional matter.... but both are nice

the new one seems a little more up to date. but the old one had lasted for so long, was pretty unique and like alitalia's and iberia's classy liveries one got so used to it over the decades. with all this nostalgic hype these days, they should have kept the old look. nevertheless the new look is not bad, still very klm.

so long

I like the newer livery on the smaller planes, but on the 747, 777, MD-11, A330, it just seems like there is too much light blue up top. IMHO...

28 JoeCattoli : I think that the only airplane that looks better in the old colors is the 744... just because it's that big and the light blue becomes not proportiona
29 Ipilot777 : I completely agree! On a 747 - it has to be the "old one" and on a 777 - it has to be the "updated" colors. Though, I wouldn't care about other aircr
30 LeonW : I agree, but i do also like the "updated" colors on the F70 before you forget those tiny birdies. And i think the old colors on a T7 won't be a succes
31 MH017 : Indeed: how about an A330 with the diagonal striped tail colors (my favorite: it looked fantastic on the DC8-30 !)

33 Transair737 : I like the old one much better. I just like the dark blue and find it very appealing on the aircraft. The new is just too much of the light blue, need
