Malaysia Airlines What To Expect

I will be going to Manchester next week and I was originally going with Singapore Airlines. However the travel agent found a better deal with Malaysia Airlines.

Who has flown Malaysian and what are they like in economy class?

I flew with MH back in 2003 on MAN-KUL-MAN in Y class. I have to say I was very impressed by the service. The FA's worked tirelessly to make sure the journey was as pleasant as possible. Drinks were served at regular intervals and the food was good too.

The return flight I did was an overnight flight but it is now a daytime flight.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think they have a seat pitch of 34' in Y.
