Just a hint, domestic flights in Nigeria are very cheap, so you might try to find a good deal to LOS (maybe on Ethiopian, MEA or Afriquiyah) and then hop on a 737-200 or 727 from LOS to ABV. Have a great trip!
Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been...

u can also fly via DXB (EK) they are usually cheap.
even in ACC a good number of PAX fly to JFK via DXB (cheaper than BA, NA)
ACC-JFK is cerca 10 hours flying... ACC-dxb is 10 hours flying so inagine this long routine.
u can book LOS-ABV via net with aero or virgin nigeria

You cannot book a flight with Virgin Nigeria online yet. Unfortunately, their website would probably be deluged by fraudsters if they were taking credit card details online, so you'd have to go along to the local VK town office to pay in person. I would probably fall off my chair in astonishment if VK had a local town office anywhere in Austria, nevermind GRZ.
Getting to ABV would possibly require the assistance of a real life, human travel agent if you did not fly one of the majors to ABV, ie BA or KL. Getting to LOS ain't a problem but booking the internal to ABV would be pretty difficult elsewhere and not many travel agents would have the right plates to ticket a VK or Bellview flight by itself. I wouldn't want to take the risk of flying with 2 separate tickets to Nigeria because if something went wrong getting you to LOS, I would imagine that the onward carrier would insist you buy a new ticket. A travel agent would happily arrange the full itinerary on one ticket.
I doubt it'd be cheap getting to Nigeria, though. LOS and ABV are two of BA's most profitable destinations and I'd imagine that this would be similar with other European carriers.
My reccommendation would be to help me get my bonus next year and fly BA, please.
