Hi All!
I'll be flying MEX-ORD-FRA on this coming tuesday, and I've just realized that I have almost 5 hours layover, which I really don't mind since I like being at airports, especially at ORD. I will be coming in from MEX on AA1596 at 1407, and I will be leaving for FRA on AA84 at 1850.
1) After re-checking my luggage and all, would you think the time is sufficient to go to downtown Chicago?
2) Would anybody be interested to hook up and go spotting, or just have a burrito or something?
See you on tuesday, hopefully!
All the things you probably hate about travelling are warm reminders that I'm home

well. youll have plenty of time to get into downtown chicago and back in time for your flight. just get on the blue line and take it to washington or jackson. and the blue line back to ohare.
well, sounds like youll be coming in terminal 5 where i work! youll just drop off your luggage and be told to head to terminal 3.
im not an avid spotter. but the place i see lots of take offs is from the upper level of t5(i always said those planes take off toooooooo close to the terminal lol)

There is a good spotting place in Terminal 3 by gate K18. There are many planes that taxi by there plus there aren't that many people since it is the end of the concourse. The lighting conditions are good there in the afternoon. I was there for more than an hour on the outbound leg and almost an hour on my return. Nobody told me to stop taking photos. Plus, you can have pizza and beer from the comfort of the airport!
