Hi BMIFlyer,

I am not part of a frequent traveler programm, but in 2005 I flew 120k NAUTICAL miles and did 293 flights so far... What a pity I dont get miles for it  Wink
ANd this is only what I did on duty! I did loads of private flights as well... So my total flight miles in 2005 so far should be around 140k NAUTICAL miles...

UA Mileage Plus member. CPH-LHR on SK, NGO-CTS-NGO on NH, FRA-CPH on SK. Not totally sure how much I made, but it should be a little over 2500 though...

Cheers

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

GRR-CVG-CDG, then FCO-ATL-CVG-GRR. Not really planned, so it was kind of a mileage run (with purpose), and it earned me around 9,000 miles, which got me 27k miles total, so now I can go somewhere for free (on Skyteam)! Quite excited about that...

Next flight: GRR-ORD-PDX-SEA-ORD-GRR

Hmmm, well, actually, I did the following now that I think about it

BOS-LAX-HKG-PEK-HKG-TPE-HKG-LAX-BOS. Didn't earn miles on the PEK segments because I flew with CZ and nobody has miles with them. The rest were on Asiamiles, which add to about 20k total.

Labor Day weekend I flew DEN-ATL-SJU-ATL-DEN on Delta. I earned a total 7857 miles, including 5487 MQM, 1000 for using delta.com, and 1370 for being Silver Medallion. The roundtrip was under $350 + I flew F class all four segments. I arrived late Sat. night and stayed till Monday afternoon. Flying was the highlight, the beaches of this Caribbean island and the charm of old San Juan was an added bonus!!

I'm still short 2500 MQM to earn Silver Medallion again for next year on Delta... Who knows where my next mileage run will take me to. I also fly F9 non-rev a lot, so accumulating miles on paid tickets is hard sometimes  Smile

Cheers,
DEN

Actually you earn miles on CZ flights on skyteam (or at least Flying Dutchman/Flying Blue). With FD you earned both award and level miles. Now with the so called "improved" FB scheme, you only earn award miles.

I have flewn CZ twice this year, HKG-PEK and KMG-KWL. KL acreditted miles on both  Smile

Hmmm, I forgot about Skyteam. I did the city check in at Airport Express, so it was one of those generic CAAC person checking me in. I wonder if they award miles on Continental? I should find out...
