Given the number of carriers now in Alliances...who would be in yours...and who would you avoid.

So hears mine;

Current Oneworld plus:JL/SA/RG/NZ/SQ/EK/SV/AR/AI

The world would be covered....so what's yours?

Avoid : BD/NW/AC/SU/MS

Not wanting to annoy...I won't say why I won't choose these carriers.

World Connection

East Asia

Japan Airlines
Thai Airlines- must be peeved about SQ dominating in the Star
China Southern

Western Asia

Jet Airways
Emirates

Africa

Tunisair- could be a natural hub to Africa from Europe
Egyptair

Latin America

LAN- could they make even more money competing with AA?
TAM
COPA- well placed hub

North America

Continental- doesn't seem too gung-ho about the SkyTeam
US Airways- poor relation in the Star
Hawaiian- well placed for additional flights to Australia
Alaska

Europe

SAS- needs to get out of LH's shadow
Austrian- ditto
Alitalia-
Spaniar- comes along with SK
Aeroflot- will only grow
