Hi I guys I did a search on trip reports but no such luck, so I was wondering if anyone flew JFK-DXB with EK on J class. Its a pricy ticket and the gap between biz and first was a lot too. I know I won't be getting the suite that they have in first but how is the J class experince on this route, also I know they fly the route with A345 but I remember reading a post here about EK switching to 777 on the route is that true? Thanks for all the replies

J on the 345 is an excellent product. Done it 3 times now. The seat does take a bit of effort to get into the most comfortable position for you but once you find it, set the memory option and it will be there for you, no matter how many times you get up out of the seat... Thanks EKGOLD. Couldn't find much info on it, hope they still have the A345 on the route.

Should be A345 for some time to come yet... The latest delivery of the 345 has allowed double daily flights to JFK, starting 16 November...

Flew the 773ER to Bangkok last week in J on one of the high density aircraft (J & Y only). Had seat 1K.. Whisper quiet ride, even with 100k+ lb thrust on either side of the a/c... Seat not as comfy as the 345, but great ride all the same...

The B777-200 flights comes in the Summer when there will be two daily JFK-DXB flights. One of the flights will be the A340-500 and one the B777-200.
