This was a very special flight for me because it's been a dream of mine to fly on a BA B747 classic in the old Landor colors. Sadly this was also my last BA flight since. Of course, being upgraded to business class helped me enjoy the flight even more.
And here's the aircraft, which was the last IB747-200 in service and flew with pax for the last time last May 1st. before being retired after 25 years of service (1980-2005).

The last time I have flown a 747 across the Atlantic was MIA-LGW-MIA VS 744. I really dont plan on taking many more 747s across the Atlantic as I like to do my flying with AA
"It was just four of us on the flight deck, trying to do our job" (Captain Al Haynes)
I didn´t flew a 744 for like 2yrs npw. Mainly because KLM flies T7 and 764 to the destinations I fly. A shame...

My first and only so far: BA 747 Economy, LHR - SFO year 2003.
It wasn't that exitting experience: old dusty plane, less leg room than AY's Md-11, not very good service. But the price was right and I wanted an One World flight...
