You have to much time on your hands do something constructive like help the homeless or volunteer at a hospital. You might find a calling worth something.

I know that this is an aviation enthusiasts forum etc...but every now and again somebody really does need some sense slapped into them.
If you did go ahead with this (somewhat over-ambitious) itinerary, it would be such a sad waste of your time. Going to so many countries and not venturing outside of the airport is shocking. Disgusting, even. Even if it is just 24 hours, you should at least try and sample something of your host country. If you have such a burning desire to try and fly as many different aircraft as possible and visit different airports, you really should exercise some patience.
Regardless, no matter how enthusiastic you are, you would eventually become pissed off to high heaven with inefficient Indian airports and the like. A mild delay would utterly scupper your plans.
If you turn out to be Alan Whicker and have actually visited more countries than the number of Xmas cards I received this year, then I apologise. If you are a regular guy with a regular number of passport stamps, I would sternly admonish you for contemplating embarking on a trip that would be so culturally ignorant.

I hope you got lots of money because this sounds like it will cost a small fortune.
Is it weird I have a RemoveBeforeFlight pitot cover on my car rear view mirror?

Unlike others, I can appreciate the idea of doing it just to do it, as a true airplane trip.
But it does sound pretty brutal. I think you'll quickly find that everything runs into everything else after the first 48 hours or so.
Try building up your endurance by doing a shorter version, say, DEN-SFO-NRT-BKK-CDG-JFK-DEN and see how that goes.
Put me in the jealous catagory, though, if you do it!

It is tough flying a schedule like that, but stuff what everyone else says I say if you got the time, the inclination & most importantly the money, then why not? You can always go back and do it all again with more time in the destinations later. I do both kinds of trip, I do the adventure trips where I go and visit somewhere I haven't been, and I do plane spotting trips, where the only point of my trip is to take plane photos and get new regos so I only visit/transit airports.

Sod off, It's a bit overambitious, but honestly flying for enjoyment is as constructive as helping some bum on a street pay for his next packet a cigarettes and bottle of moonshine. It may not be your cup of tea, but it is by no means a waste of time or money.

First of all, thanks everyone for the feedback, both positive and negative, i appreciate it.
i think ultimately this trip is about me pushing my own limits, deciding for myself what is too much and what i can handle in the future. to be sure, this is, most likely, a one time thing, i doubt i'll do something like it again. i think the trip is also about going places i've never been before, to fly their national airlines, check out the efficiency or inefficiency of their airports, and see their scenery from 35,000 feet. the trip is also about flying airplanes i've never flown on before. i've never been to south america, i've never been to the middle east, i've never been to India or Sri Lanka, i've been to Asia twice, but not to the Phillippines, Korea, or Taiwan.
having done my fair share of international travel, i build into the trip at least two hours between connections on as many legs as i can, because i understand that there are eventualities such as canceled flights, delayed flights and whatnot that, if i don't allow myself leadtime, can cause problems, i also realize that if a flight is delayed or canceled and i know where i need to be by the end of the day, the airline will take care of me, and if worse comes to worse, i can buy a direct ticket to be where i need to be for the start of the next day.
on the the issue of cost: 9600 approximately, 6000 out of my own pocket, 3500 from my parents.
planning the trip has been half the fun, figuring out how many legs i can fly per day, the routings, and how cheap i can get the trip, are all part of the fun. the flying, of course will also be fun, not to mention the 48 new regos i get to add to the 395 i already have. will i be exhausted when i get home? i'm sure i will, but it will be something i'll remember for the rest of my days, if only to say to myself "do you remember the time you decided to drill a hole in your head and do 48 sectors in 14 days?"
once again, thanks for your input
I could have elite status if I wanted it, but flying the same airline all the time is boring.

If it were me, I'd try to get onto a classic 727 with Lloyd Aero Boliviano for part of this routing.

Yep, one flight can be bad enough, but upto 4 a day for 2 weeks. Even pilots don't fly that much. Planning any sleep at all?
I do think you are cutting it very fine. One delay and the whole rest of the schedule could go out the window, especially if you get stuck in the wilds and there aren't daily flights to the next port of call.

You won't be going to India if you don't have a visa from them. Have you considered all the visas you may have to get before your flights even start?

For the price you are saying you can do this for you'll be the last one the airlines will care about if a flight is delayed. Cheap fare = first one booted/last one rescheduled.
That said, good luck although I think you are wasting valuable time visiting the countries you would be flying into.

I haven't done too much for the needy myself lately. But I sincerely hope for you that you will miss a flight somewhere in Bolivia or India, get out of the terminal, and experience life there with its cons and pros.
