Hi,

I was wondering from your past experiences, which is the most comfortble airline to Fly from either MSP, ORD, or MKE (or anywhere else near those cities) to HNL. I'm thinking of taking a trip someday. I don't think NW has any in-flight entertainment. IFE is a must. I was even thinking of connecting to US/HP via PHX if the price is right, as well as comfort. I see UA has a 777 from ORD...how is that for comfort?

Thanks!

MSP is going to be NW DC-10's, probably, so I agree the UA 777 from ORD would probably be best.

United all the way. I recently flew United to KOA from SFO, and the service was wonderful! Not to mention you would get to be on a 777. Yes it's in domestic config, but it is still a nice plane.

while I would take UA's 777 any day over AA's 763, it also depends if you have a FF milage with AA or UA......there is a lot of miles to gain..

Thanks so much for the help. I was on NW out of SEA once, and was bored off my ass with no IFE. Never been on a 777, so I think I'll go that route.

Quoting LUVRSW (Thread starter):
ORD, or MKE (or anywhere else near those cities) to HNL.

American Airlines all the way. Excellent airline. Excellent equipment. And frequent flyer points that will probably be around in 5 years..unlike the competition out of MSP.

UA's T7 is nice. But for my money, I'd go AA.

Tired of airline bankruptcies....EA/PA/TW and finally DL.

NW has IFE on Hawai'i flights.

I would take UA however. 777 is amazing and theres a possibility of some HNL based crews which are A+.

JetDelta, does AA have IFE? And what type of plane? Do you like non-stop, or making a stop somewhere to take a break.

Thanks!

If your going coach AA/UA both have IFE but its just on big screens thats it. If your flying First then Go AA just because of the 60" pitch which I took and was amazing. Both airlines you will get good/bad/avg service its a flip of a coin. If you have AA miles go with AA if you have UA miles go with UA thats about it.

I don't have any miles with either of the airlines. I flew a CO 764 once, and it had TV's in the seat backs.
