How Many People Have Been On The 747

hi, i never been on a 747. i've been on the 777. is there a real big diffrence besides there being a 2nd deck?

From a pax´ point of view and when flying in Coach, there´s not much difference; ultimately it comes down on the interiors the carrier had installed.
Only on the 777 you might get the chance to get a 9-abreast seating (2-5-2 or 3-3-3) on some carriers, while other have a 10-abreast seating.
The 747 usually always has a 10-abreast seating (3-4-3) - I don´t know of any operator with a 9-abreast seating.

I've only flown Y in 747 and only J on 777, but overall I think that 777s have a smoother ride, and are generally quieter. However, if you're sitting next to the RR engine on a 777, you'll get the famous jigsaw-buzz: pretty loud actually!
