Just was about to doze off last night and my brain was rattling all types of thoughts and ideas. I'm searching for a job currently and was thinking about all the different web-sites I've been on looking for the "perfect job", if such a thing exists.

Then I thought to myself, what are the favorite airline sites and non-airline sites visited by all the members of Airliners.net? I'd have to say that I try to visit this site at least once a day and is one of my favorite sites.

What are your top five favorite airline related web-sites and what are your top five non-related airline web-sites and why?

I do hope this thread won't be deleted but I couldn't think of another forum to put it on. If it needs to be moved somewhere else, please do so. With the internet being such a large place and the Airliners.net member being spread all over the world, I'd have to say there are probably many sites out there that a lot of us don't know about.................and I'd like to visit them.

Here are mine.....................

Aviation related

www.airliners.net - duh
www.landings.com - lots of info
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DFWAviation/messages - DFW Spotter's
http://www.747sp.com/Default.asp - I love the 747SP !!
http://www.2decker.com/ - aviation clothing

Non-Aviation related

http://mb6.scout.com/braiderpower - Texas Tech Sports Forum
http://www.fredmiranda.com/ - Photography site
http://www.good-tutorials.com/ - Photoshop Tutorials
http://www.ipodhacks.com/ - Ipod info
http://www.jazztrax.com/ - Jazz radio 24/7 without commercials

Well those are my favorite sites I'd have to say, what about you?
I'm sure we can all learn something from this thread and I hope it
becomes one of the longest threads on A.net...............

I was going to say http://www.airliners.net - but I would imagine EVERYONE here is already somewhat familiar with that site...  rotfl

Actually, http://www.cardatabase.net/modifiedairlinerphotos/ is a great site for the "what if..." questions. What if Pan Am had order the 747-400?

I also strongly recommend http://aviation-safety.net/index.php as a reference source - updated fairly regularly. Good links as well.

For historical reference, http://www.airchive.com - I am proud that some of my old timetables are proudly posted on this site! A good place to look if you're hoping to find routes that airlines used to fly.
