If its a BA 1world explorer fare, you MAY be able to amend the dates, it really does depend. Thes RTW fares are very confusing. Call the airline and double check. If they dont know, they can give the fare dept a quick bell and conf what to do.If it was booked thru a agent. Call them, not the airline

Thanks for replying.Ive spoken to the travel agents and they say we can do it but they are a bit sketchey. They advise us to speak with ba or qantas when we reach hkg.The trouble is then the fares for Vegas will have gone up.I really cant see why we cant fly with aa eagle as we haven't used all our miles.Maybe I should try ringing ba ticketing at lhr?

Quoting United905 (Reply 3):
avel agents and they say we can do it but they are a bit sketchey

Speak to your travel agents again! They will be earning a wedge of commission on your booking and as you won't get an answer from the airline direct (as you didn't book with them), just tell your travel agent that you NEED a definitive answer, NOT a sketchy one! If your travel agent doesn't know all the rules, they must ring the airline with whom they booked the ticket (even when you book a RTW with several airlines, I think it will be one airline responsible for the ticketing) and get the answer from them.

Sounds to me like the agent shouldn't be selling RTW's if they don't know what they're doing!

Good luck and let us know what happens.
