What do you think will be the next longest regularly scheduled passenger flight? LHR-SYD sure is on a lot of people's minds but it doesn't seem possible just yet. What about YYZ-SYD? Would AC have the demand to start such a flight?

A 777ULR or an A350/A360 (?) will be developed to do LHR-SYD. That doesn't spell the end of other flights with one stop, but I think that is the goal right now.

I'd love to have QF fly SYD-MCO....about 9350 miles. Something that could be done at least eastbound.

Keep on dreaming for that one. Not enough traffic for it and the yields would be crappy going to the Mouse House.
Is there a huge need for South America to Asia flights? That might be some long ones. As said earlier follow the 772LR orders and then reference what routes those carriers have that require a stop because of distance. I would think those will be the ones served first. SYD-LHR is a good one already mentioned. If DL can get some cash flow and get some 772LRs when the China routes come open those would be some good bets also.
