Could not find a similar post when I searched the forum so I was wondering which are the better tracker sites. I know there are tons available but I am sure some of you have better ones bookmarked than I have found.

Only the US. I tried to track BA from London to PHX and the track starts around Greenland.

The free flight tracker sites that I like are:
http://travel.airwise.com/arrivals/ac/index.html
http://www.meteomedia.com/bulletins/suividevols/index.htm
http://www.flytecomm.com/cgi-bin/trackflight
http://www.flightaware.com

This one is not free but it is very good IMO even if there is a delay of about 5 minutes.

By far is right... Great features, great discussion board with the owners of the site ready to answer any questions, and of course it's FREE

I have only been using flightaware.com for a few months but love it, it is an awesome sight ! One flaw though for those who us it in the US who want to check arrivals/departures for a particliar US airport it seems to work much better for primarily domestic airports than airports with lots of International flights. It's works great for my home airport of LGA, but for JFK lots of the stuff from say Europe seems to have a lot of inaccrices. Today I was watching MIA and certain flights would go from being do in about 90 mins to having arrived 10 mins ago in just a few minutes time ! There seemed to be lots of International flights with info for one of two days prior mixed in with todays arrivals/departures. A small nusense, if you have never tried give it a try, you can do plenty with out registering and even more after a very brief and free registration !

Cheers

Are military flights able to be tracked? I remember once trying to track AF1 on FlightAware, but I was not able to do it. So my guess is that because it is military, it is not going to be able to be tracked.

I have never seen US Military on flightaware.com and frankly would be surprised to see that their. However I have seen some limited foreign goverment listings, when the Belgium Air Force recently visited LGA I found about it initally because of the website !

I do like flightaware. But I notice that international flights aren't tracked well.
BA2167, LGW-TPA often shows up as a flight from Halifax, N.S,which arrived
weeks ago. I think this may be the result of tighter restrictions on flight
info from Britain..but I'm not sure.

One of the mistakes I've seen on flightaware is ; I heard FX967 on my scanner @ home on ROC approach, but the website shows it still in Pennsylvania.
