Hi
I'm flying to Paris from Manchester on the 19:45 flight this Friday.
Anyone know

1. the seat pitch of the AF A320 is
2. What the service is like
3. Flight Time (say 1hr25 but I assume actual flight time is shorter)
4. Transfer to Paris - We arrive at 22:10), the best way to get to near the eiffel tower that time of night i.e does AF have bus services anymore.

Thanks

4. You can get the RER (B) from the Air France terminal to Denfert Rochereau then Metro 6 to Champ du Mars Tour Eiffel/Bir Hakeim. The trains are quite regular. That'll probably be a bit faster than the bus.

RER B is blue line from top right.

Denfert Rochereau is 4 stations below the Seine.

If you're there for a few days buy a 3 day or 5 day ticket that covers you for all bus/metro/RER.

I flew CDG-MAN with them on an A320 after being bumped by BA last June.

Seat pitch was standard for a short haul European airline, 31 inches IIRC.

Service was a drink from the bar (alcoholic drinks free) and a small packet of flavoured pretzels.

Flight time is about an hour, taxiing at CDG takes the most time as we took off at the other end of the airport, so we took over 10 minutes taxiing.

AF does operate buses; not sure if these are just to link CDG and ORY though. You can also use the RER, though it is quite expensive into central Paris (€10-15 I think).

Hi,

On a Friday evening I would not recomend AF buses or taxis from CDG. Traffic will be a mess... Take the RER B, every other train is direct to Gare du Nord. For the Eiffel tower change at Saint Michel station for the RER C (yellow line) and get off at Champs de Mars station enjoy...

Feel free to ask for off the beaten path restaurants and bars of my home town...

Regarding AF's service on the from MAN, you are flying at a meal time, therefor you will be offered a sandwish in Tempo along soft an/or alcoholic beverage...

Next flights: AF ORY-TLN-ORY; CDG-BOD-CDG; KL CDG-AMS-ADD-AMS-CDG; AF CDG-ATL; DL ATL-MSY-ATL; AF ATL-CDG
