In 1995 when I first passed by Gatwick the slogan was

"THE HUB WITHOUT THE HUBBUB" ...I think it remains my fav slogan for an airport...anyone know other slogans ?

ORD should be,

"Chicago O'Hare, come for the city, stay because of the ground stop."

London Gatwick also had the slogan GatQwick (cannot remember how they spelt it though), which was used to highlight that the airport did not (then) have the congestion of LHR.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport

"Above us only Sky"

See reply 2. I screwed up and stated it might have been a Beatles song when it was Lennon solo with "Imagine."

Is Paul upset they named it after John?
