Not sure about specific teams, but I know that a lot of Premiership teams used BAC Express Shorts 360's for some of the more distant games.

Not exactly luxurious I know but It's better than nothing.

Gordon

The Arsenal FC team always use LTN airport as its only about 16miles from their training HQ, they always charter a BA772 as Donder10 mentioned

Even a hardcore gunner like me doesn't know what the team uses, the BA 777's probably used for trips to European games, can't see it being used for domestic games.

The last time Arsenal came north to the Newcastle/Sunderland area, they arrived in a Flightline BAe146-300.

Every weekend sees a number of UK charter carriers operating football flights - most often used are carriers like Scot Airways (Do328s), Titan Airways (BAe146s/ATR.42s), Flightline (BAe146s) ..... Duo took Birmingham away from here last night after their game at Sunderland in a CRJ. Also in the past KLM CityHopper have been used with Fokker 50s.

I don't think BAC Express have any passenger-config Shorts 360s.

Arsenal who??

LOL... Coming from a mighty Tottenham supporter like me!!

He He, As already mentioned, last season for the champions league fixtures they chartered a BA 777 complete with full crew...

It is normally flown from LHR to LTN then onto the required destination!

All of the catering (Gate Gourmet) and other usual LHR amneties also get drafted down for the flights, as BA have no contracts at LTN!!

I have heard rumours though, that this year the a/c will be a smaller narrow bodied jet..poss a 757...

Cheers!
