Best And Worst Livery Changes

Just wondering who shares my feelings on recent livery changes, I'm sorry if there have been lots of similar posts....

I think some of the best changes are
1. United - the old livery was good but the new one looks seriously good.
2. Northwest
3. Transavia
4. Thai

The worst
1. US Airways - why go from that sharp dark, grey and red scheme to the cheap looking new livery??
2. Austrian - Very nice to very ugly.

These are just my opinions, what does everyone else think....

The worst

I hate to but have to add:

  • JAL - where did the crane go? From the distance it may look elegant, but when you look closely... Terrible.
  • ANA - did you know they've made a minor change? The overall design didn't change a bit, but they have removed Japanese titles and put a logo instead. I hate them for having done such a tacky and stupid move, I wish they had more respect to their identity.
  • Asiana - none yet painted, but will suck strongly, I tell you
  • US Airways

Regarding best changes:

  • KLM - that subtle change added so much!
  • Northwest

Finally, I don't like new United and Thai designs, but they are not "the worst", so I didn't explicitly mention them.

DISASTROUS: British Airways ill fated "Ethnic Liveries", between 1997 - 2002 proved to be an expensive error of judgement for the airline.

I am not a fan of having the .com on planes. I know this will be hard to believe but I like the America West design. It is funky and seems to fit its desert hubs. I also do not like the all white planes with just the airline name.

They had an extremely lame ugly dull livery and their new one is just amazing...

P.S Its a British design group that made the livery
