I think cargo airlines need to have better liveries so they can be seen. Look at these:

Quoting LH492 (Thread starter): was wondering what airlines you think should get a new livery.
For me its:
Air France
Lufthansa
I agree completely here, but couldn't disagree more on Qantas: this has to be one of the most timeless and classy liveries around.
Others who badly need a makeover: CSA, Singapore, every Chinese airline, Kenya Airways (yes, the new one), Delta, Olympic, Egyptair, and several of the former republics of the USSR.

Let me add IB and AZ. LH should still do for a while.
a timeless classic ..don't you dare touch it ( or if you must then restore it to the original SQ midnight blue/yellow scheme without the gold stripe on the fin and cheatline ) ...I am still in mourning for TG's classic scheme which has been disastrously UPS-ised.
In dire need of a new scheme SN Brussels - please remove all associations with the ghost of Sabena .

American is in desperate need of a new livery. The current one has been around for far too long.

I think CO needs to update theirs. They could easily modernize the existing livery to make it look just fantastic.

I want to agree with you, but I just can't imagine AA in a different livery. What they have now is pretty much timeless.
The perils of getting old - I had been going to say that the current GA livery is quite new ... then I checked the photo database ... I cannot find a more recent photo of the orange livery than 1985 ... and I can find the 'new' livery in the same year ... I am feeling my age and am going to have a lie down now .

I think Korean Air needs to update theirs. I don't like certain blue they use, and it's gets very monotonous after a while. I'd love to see them do something with it.
I also think Ibera could do something really cool also.

I don't know about you, but I think Alaska Airlines (AS) is in need of a new livery. Sure the Salmon and Mickey Mouse are nice, but we need a new paint job.

Just looked through a few of my Airliners magazine's and think that Air Berlin needs a new livery as well.

I second that, CO has had the same livery since 1991.

It would be hard to see AA in a new livery. Besides I still like it.

As a New Zealander it hurts me to say it but I really think NZ needs a new look (keep the koru on the tail but sort out the rest)!
DL (the new one)
SQ (sorry)!
BA (have never warmed to it, bring back the old one)
MA (what is with the nose)!
AI (very dated)
CA (boring)
EK & ET (I can hear the screams of outrage)
Anything that resembles a bird or arrow. Can't they be a little more imaginitive?
for example
AR
OS
KU
Someone stop me! There are some that I like, I promise!

Although BA's one is ok, I think they could do with a much better one!
It would be brilliant if they could incorporate their 'To Fly To Serve' Royal Coat of Arms as they did on their previous Landor livery.
I think the above could be incorporated onto the tail on this BA livery below, which is an updated version of their current one.

I never knew GA had a new livery... Only thing I can find in the database is their old white livery with Garuda on the side and A Garuda on the tail.. although it really represents Indonesia, I think it's old and could use a change.

EEEUWWW! Thats awful.
The current BA is far better.
My votes for carriers most needing a new livery:
AA (it's NOT timeless .. its TIRED!)
SQ (Blecccchh. and enough with the stupid names like MEGATOP)
VS (Redesign of the tail area -- looks ungainly and clunky - bad design)
25 Tbnist03: I absolutely LOVE AA's livery. It would totally break my hear to see it changed. On the other hand, I was sort of meh about NW's old red / grey liver
26 FlyDreamliner: AA's and CO's both look nice, and both have been on their planes for way TOO long. That said, CO's might be the nicest looking livery going. It's just
27 JBo: I like AA...but too many composite parts these days sort of ruin the look. I'm not sure what a new AA livery would look like ... I think a modern int
28 Gunsontheroof: One of the best looking liveries in the United States, hands-down. I'm in whole-hearted disagreement. Funny how most of the liveries mentioned here a

31 LH492: actually, the JAL 747-400F is bare metal too and it looks awesome, much better than the AA livery in my opinion, since the belly is not painted. Chee

34 Boeingfanyyz: I personally like Qantas' livery. Simply, yet elegant. Cheers, Boeingfanyyz
35 MajorNelson: The first two are HORRIFIC! But the third looks like a good thought.
36 Gift4tbone: I could see them putting the globe logo they put on the tail, on the fuselage, kinda like NW with their 'N symbol. I'd like to see that. My votes: to
37 JetBlueAUS: AA - old, boring, in need of a major change.
38 MDD: Iberia! It just looks very dated. I don't like the orange and yellow colors.
39 Bullpitt: I Love IB colours, I hope they don't change them at all. One thing I would love to see though is an IB340-600 with a theme painting on it. Something t
40 AirxLiban: I don't recognise that 8th airline on the list...
41 Bushpilot: See I disagree, I love skimo Joe on the tail. It is subdued but consistent. AS needs to learn how to fly on time before they worry about a new livery
42 Asturias: Absolutamente. Iberia has such a classic livery. I wouldn't want to see it changed at all. It is one of my all-time favorites! If anyone needs a new
