wondering what you believe is/was the ugliest aircraft ever built. Disregard the livery, just focus on the shape of the aircraft.

A380 is the winner hands down!!!

Although I greatly appreciate the technical achievements and performance of the A380, it has absolutely no aesthetical appeal to me.

The most obvious (the A380 and anything Shorts) have already been mentioned ... but here are a few of my votes for the most ugly planes built, in no particular order:


A. Anything - i mean ANYTHING- built in Russia

B. Beech 1900D

And then one flying thing, which looks like some monster in Jules Verne style and I can´t find any photo of it now  Sad
But you probably know that photo I have in mind: it´s dark, boxy plane staying in the dusk, looks like being only black and white.
