Some airline have really boring name like Ryanair...too some degree name has an effect on the business(intially)...British Airway launched "Go" had to pay £100,000 for the name.

1. What is the Most expensive Airline Name..

2. If you had the chance to name an International airline, what would it be considering that you want standout and also attract younger people...a name you would feel proud to say(mine would be "Yeeeees" Smile)..I flew with such and such airline...

My choice would be "Hasta la vista airlines"
I think these words are significant, discriptive, modern and known by the majority of young people around the world

I wonder how much "American Airlines" would go for.. hypothetically, of course.. I would guess it would have to be the most expensive airline name of all..

ESPN Airways. They would have huge monitors placed all over their aircraft showing live sports events from all over the world. You would never be afraid to fly on Sundays again(NFL). I think Disney Airways, would also work well too. "Magic at 30,000 feet." They could have disney characters walk around the planes in between meals and snacks.

You'd have branding issues because there is a cellphone provider in the UK named O2 (formally CellNet).

Personally, I'd call the airline 'Jack Air'. My advertising slogan would be...

"So, you think the other airlines are good?...You don't know Jack"

Not If the brand is registered in different country ...as there are approximatly 52 registration company world wide...for 02 to protect its name it has register in all of them..haha. I don't they did that!

it could be O2 air or O2jet

I am pretty sure I recall once seeing an airline called Million Air,
so I think the idea is pretty much taken.  Sad
It's a great idea though!

A very clear name for an LCC with a good word game. honestly got to be the best LCC name. Then again, its not yet taken. I guess I should copyright it, or make up a website with that domain name and sell the domain name very expensive biggrin

For a NZ airline I wd pick the name "kiwi wings".
the kiwi bird cant actually fly (has no wings) and is the best known native bird. and NZers call themselves "kiwis".
