Who ever happens to be flying non-stop to where I'm going.
From PHX - US Airways to Southern Cal and points east.
From SFO/IAD - United (widebodies)
Up and down the west coast - Alaska

I have a bunch.. but my absolute favorites are Continental, jetBlue and the new USAirways. All three have always treated me well. Also, after this past weekend, I'm a fan of American Eagle, but still not a fan of mainline.

Out of Tucson on my way West it is Southwest. They have frequent service at a usually decent price. For longer trips I will use American-often because of price. For example, a need to fly a multi-city in July: SMF-ORD-TUS.
Delta and Continental was over $500.
United's web site was so slow I couldn't get to the fare portion.
American-$437.90 with a nonstop ORD-TUS.

I guess I'll be the first to vote for AA then.
They are my favourite US airline for the following reasons:
1. They go everywhere I want to go.
2. Aircraft that I have flown on (no I haven't been on the AB6 yet) are well kept and I like the blue colour scheme on the inside
3. They fly 757-200s with RB211s and 777s with Trent 800s.
4. They are a member of the oneworld alliance which is important to me as I also fly a lot on British Airways
5. In something like 30 roundtrips or so I have not come across any F/A who was anything but polite, efficient and professional.

Delta Air Lines.
While their in flight services might have temporarily gone downward, they still have the best flight attendants in the sky, the most int'l destinations, and soon they will have PTVs at every seat on 200 something a/c!

Delta
I know the service has gone down, but I have never (luckily) had a bad experience on them, in fact all of my flights with them have been above and beyond normal service.
You are now free to be sexually harassed and then terminated for filing a complaint--Southwest Airlines to me.

Definitely United Airlines,
- service had been great on all my flights with them
- Channel 9 is just awesome
- I can earn miles since they are in the Star Alliance
- I had the smotthest landing ever on one of their 777

Of the airlines I've flown so far (Champion, Sun Country, Northwest, America West, Continental, Mesa (HPX), Mesaba (NWX), Continental has been my favorite so far. This weekend I add Delta, Atlantic Southeast (DLX), and Frontier, so we'll see how that goes.

1. Continental, b/c of great service and frills not found in the domestic market on other carriers.
2. Delta, but only b/c of Song. they're mainstreaming it into mainline though, right?
3. United, b/c of Ch. 9

My vote goes to Southwest. They are inexpensive, the flights are generally comfortable, I always get the seat I want, and you're gauranteed a flight on a full sized 737 aircraft (not some cramped little RJ). Plus, the livery, IMHO, is beautiful. I know there are alot of WN haters out there, but I have always had an enjoyable experience during the many times I flew with them.

That would be Delta, but NW sure did come thru on our Honeymoon. They refused to take off and fly into a tornado warning, called it mechanical and gave us two free tickets to anywhere and a hotel room.

My loyalty stays with Delta. I've always been a Delta fan. Hopefully, I'll be working for them one day.
