WN Easily Wins Ugliest Aircraft Contest

Yesterday I was early at DTW and enjoyed the gracious NW 757 and A330 planes taxiing. Some other airlines and aircraft slighty interfered the view as at one moment the picture was badly disturbed by a WN 737. The 737 isn't a beaty in itself but with the ugly Southwest livery and the disgusting winglets it's a shame to see them at an airport.         
Or does someone know uglier things? Don't mention the A380 as we haven't seen it live on airports yet.

I'm saddened to see that your trip through DTW was made worse by some SWA planes.

The birds with the newer blue livery are not too bad. My vote for Fugly ducklings goes to Miami Air with their generic el cheapo livery. This current livery makes Miami Air planes look dowdy and old.

This one just looks cheap, like the designer did designs for bowling alleys.

Now this one is simple but, classy looking with the palm tree. This livery proves less can indeed be more!

It was the musterd. But I have to say I don't see the new blue livery as real stylish. It too screamy IMO. But way better, I'll give you that.

I disagree. I think WN have one a great job with their planes, in regards to looks and mechanical efficiency. They look great, and WN keep some of the best well-maintained a/c there are out there!

I also thought WN had the worst looking planes until they added the blue tops. As to mechanical effeciency, I have been on many WN flights and can only remember one delay but never an cancellation because of mechanical difficulties...we were in LAS on our way to TUS. It had to do with the air conditioning unit. It was fixed on the spot.
