Cant find anything in the search. Im going to Newyork in August from either Dublin or London and am wondering which is the cheapest airline. Ive heard Kuwait airlines are but also heard that their service is crap (which would make sense I guess, if they are so cheap). And Ive checked EI already (they are introducing a 70eur rtn fuel levy from may 5th BTW). Any suggestions?

I've found that if you're flying to anywhere on the Aer Lingus network and book far enough ahead, you get killer deals.
You might want to look at the US airlines out of London. What about going via Moscow with Aeroflot? Round-about way, but they're cheap and not bad. How about VS? How cheap are you looking at here?
I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!

The two cheapest I've always seen round trip heading this way are AI and KU from LHR. You'd have to find a local consolidator who sells them at discount.
As far as service on KU I've heard a mixed bag of reviews on their service.. from relatively pleasant to downright horrible.. but as with most things I think that comes down to personal taste.
Now that I've said that.. I once put a client on AMS-JFK on BG years ago.

what would biman be like from manchester? they have just started a DKA-MAN-JFK-MAN-DKA servixe using DC-10's. i would take that option, cause you get to go on a classic aircraft.

www.kayak.com is probably one fo the nicest ones around, but it is all based on American sites so you might have some discrepancy between American and UK sites

you get what you pay for.... but i'd take the moscow route if your a true aviation fan, more bang for the buck.
