Good afternoon
What are some aircraft that you wish you got a chance to see performing in person. For me it has to be the Concorde, SR-71, F-14 Tomcat, CV 880/990 and Vulcan bomber. Also what or current aircraft that you would like to see perform in person. For me the B-1B and B-52H or (the BUFF), I was very disappointed when I could not leave work to see them Take off from Langley AFB after the air show this year, I also want to see a VC-10.

I wish I could have seen the 707. I've seen the stratotanker in PHX, but that's been updated with newer engines, etc, so it just isn't the same. The Concorde would have been quite the sight as well.
Future and current aircraft I want to see are the 777, 787, one of NW's A330s (I live near MSP but haven't seen one), and the A380.
Yes, people could easily confuse this with Air Canada.
Anyways, I was insistent on someday flying the Concorde.
The funny thing is, I have never seen one in person.
One plane I really want to see is 774AS, alaskaair.com.
I nearly had a heart attack when I saw it fly overhead not a
few months ago.
I really want to see one of Air Canada's new Embraer 190s.
This is one of my favourite aircraft, and I will be flying on one for
the first time in July. I am very excited!

The concorde I was very lucky to see on its last North American flight. I saw it on Approach RWY 23 at YYZ. I got lucky i was getting off the school bus and heard a loud noise, looked up and there it was! I was so happy to see that birdy!
Now I would LOVE to see the A380 up close... and hopefully have the honor to fly on it one day!!!

I would have liked to have been standing on the Golden Gate Bridge while one of the great Pan Am Clipper flying boats flew overhead, and I'd like to have seen the Connie in action. I'm old enough to remember the Electra still in service, but not the Connie, dammit.

You can go on, and I have been on a retired "Air Force One", a 707, and a retired BA Concorde at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
While I did see a couple of Concorde's at rest, I never saw one in flight live. I also would have liked to have flown on one, like some business associates were able to do about 7 years ago.
I am waiting for the opportunity to go on a A-380 or at least see one finally fly here to the USA.

Quoting LTBEWR (Reply 12): I have been on a retired "Air Force One", a 707, and a retired BA Concorde at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
Is that the same one that's now at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley?

I have seen the concorde from a distance. (The one parked in LHR)
Luckily, I had the chance to see an SR-71 Blackbird a couple of years ago. I must say that it was way bigger than I had expected it to be, and very impressive indeed!
Quoting Andz (Reply 7): I guess I'm showing my age when I see things like:
and I have flown in them when they were still in mainline service!
Not necessarily. I am 19 years old and I have flown with Delta L1011 Tristar when I was 5 So you don't have to be THAT old to have tried that. Hope this helps
