Is it my imagination or are Asian FAs more customer focused than their non Asian counterparts. I seem to recall there being a noticeble difference of service levels from a trip I took last year. It was NYC/LON/HKG return
While the service NYC/LON was good the LON/HKG was even better. The flights were by the same airlline just difference in crews.
Has anyone noticed this as well or am i imagining things?

I think it's more about if the company or the flight has generally good service or not and of course there are cultural differences.
Finnair has Asian (Thai/Japanese/Chinese) FAs on every Asian flight basically and haven't noticed any big differences with native Finnish and Asian crew. Maybe Asian crew members are more polite in a formal way, like towards older passengers.
Last Now I flew Cathay BKK-SIN-BKK, that service was just very ordinary, nothing special.
