Given this situation -- you are on LHR to BOS flight (763) and the flight diverts due to poor weather in BOS -- and you are given the choice to land in LGA, JFK or EWR and overnight at a hotel -- which airport would you choose and why?

If the weather is that bad in Boston, it would still be bad in 3 NYC airport you would probably be diverted like a lot of times in the winter to YMX or YUL. Less traffic and can deal with the heavy snow...
To answerd your question i would choose EWR never been would like to see CO Hub... But JFK could be good lots of Heavies

If you haven't experienced landing in LGA, then that's the first choice----amazing views on landing especially if you are on that side with a views of Manhattan. Next choice is JFK for diversity if you want plane spotting.

First of all, no aircraft from LHR or any place over 1500 miles away from NYC can land at LGA, so would have to be JFK or EWR.
Probably there would be better choices in hotels at JFK for holdovers, although a number of new hotels have been put up near EWR in Elizabeth, near a outlet/shopping mall with a movie theater and a number of resturants a short ride away.
