At one point it was 6 years between flights; so long that I forgot what flying was like! The next flight was like rediscovering aviation all over again. Currently standing at about 2.75 months.

Right now it's 1 year and 9 months...
Most time I spent on the ground was almost 9 years. When I finally managed to get on a plane again, it was my first flight alone. As I watched through the window on takeoff, I remembered my mom's words the night before, advising me not to get nervous. Me, nervous? I was thrilled!
Being a pioneer in any field is not by itself a guarantee of continued success - Pan Am, anyone?

It's been an interminable one year and three months to the day today since I last took off. I just hope it's not *another* year and three months until my next flight!

Its just been over a month since my last flight...but the longest gap without me flying is 3 years. Its kinda good when you've not been on a plane in a while because you forget what it all feels like, its awesome when all the motions come flooding back.

I went my first 18 years and six months of my life without flying Since then I think my longest time without flying was from 1970-1975. I have had several 2 or 3 year gaps since then. Most recently was May 6-9 BWI-DEN-SFO-DEN-BWI on F9.
