Swiss 340 And Thai 777

just booked a trip to KUL (ex-LHR) and thought I would try a different route this time and am booked with LX and TG via ZRH and BKK.

Any ideas about the best seats in the house in Economy on both aircraft types. Am Star Gold if that helps with 'Premium seat selections'. I would like quiet window seats on all flights.

Well, I always prefer to have a seat in the front compartment but not in the first 2-3 rows as there are usually baby baskets. I'm normally going for aile seat and can't help regarding windows seat. But as the LX 343 does have 2/4/2 abrest it doesn't really matter which row you go for. Btw: interesting choise you made for flying LHR to KUL.

BMI Diamond Club is offering double miles on Swiss until end on july. Interestingly it was cheaper to fly BKK-KL on TG than SIN-KL on SQ. Worth remembering this fare difference now between BKK/SIN-KL.

Did you buy a published fare? Where did you buy it, online? How about AK?

The fare was booked online at www.thaiair.com

I have hit a slight snag though as KUL is not an e-ticket station and so the ticket is only issuable in BKK. AK is much cheaper still but there is no immediate connection available to meet my LX arrival at BKK.
