Hi,
I have just booked a day trip; on 28 June; from LGW - BCN, on British Airways in Club Europe.
Can anyone tell me what service to expect, is it vastly different from the "Y" product?. Also in my booking e-mail it says that I can use the BA lounges, where is the lounge at LGW, and at BCN will I get a good view of arrivals and departures from the BA lounge.
Yet another question, where is the best place to spot at BCN and what can I expect to see.

Have flown to BCN a few times on BA in CE so can recall some experiences.
The Terraces Lounge at LGW is rather excellent IMO. As you go through Fast Track security turn left and head through the shopping area towards Gates 45-57. As you pass the WHSmith on your right and the corridor narrows you'll see a passageway off to your right. The BA Terraces is at the end, to be honest you can't really miss it.
The lower floor opens up at I think 5am or 5.30am and the upper level an hour later. The upper floor is more of the Terraces decor and after 7am you can order champagne from the wait staff. Hot food is only available in the First Lounge although you can get pastries and cereal in the Terraces.
At BCN you'll be able to use the Iberia Lounge. It is in Terminal B, which isn't much since the airport is all one interjoined concourse. Seems so long I am sure you can see the curvature of the earth! The lounge is actually above the BA check-in desks but to get there go up the stairs and go right, through security. As you are facing out onto the apron bear left and you'll see the sign for Sala VIP off on your left after a small line of stores. You won't get a view of departures/arrivals as the lounge overlooks the check-in area. The terminal is all glass from floor to ceiling so if you venture out of the lounge you can see planes landing and taxiing.
