Today I achieved a personal record in means of checked pax per hour and half. It was a charter flight, thus very quick and easy, as the families come together, usually don't have overwights and there are hardly any specialities. The number was 130 people. Anyway, I think I could do much better, because once I did 95 in an hour
Do you fellow agents have some personal records you are proud of? Let us know please.

Quoting Kazzie (Reply 1): On a FR check-in which is Totally Manual. I done 107+1 in the space of 2 hours...
How much longer does it take to manually check in a passenger than doing it on the system ? Do you have to use cryptic inputs or do you have a GUI on CODECO ?
We've got pre-printed tags and boarding cards and either write in them or put stickers or stamps in them. The pax list is also an effectively designed form, which you fill in.

Quoting JGPH1A (Reply 2): wow, I admire you.. we had a system failure for 12 hours recenlty and it was real hell, when you're used to the automatized systems
Ah once you do a few FR's it gets easy..

I did 55 check ins to NRT in 1 hour - that was my best. That's with security questions, passport swiping and tagging bags... The Japanese are the model passengers.... no excess luggage, no visa problems, no pains in the ass asking for exit rows etc. Best check in ever...
We boarded that same flight of 420 pax in only 20 minutes...It's amazing how quick it can go when some tosser doesn't take his oversized cabin bags onboard and block the plane, airbridge etc...
My record for excess luggage from one pax is $3000 - though I'm working on it. I wish I earned commission on it...

as for boarding, I boarded 177+3 alone the other day, no boarding readers functional, so it was only ripping boarding cards plus I checked if the pax have the passport (didnt have energy and time for really checking them) and it was all done in some 12 minutes or so.
