Hi, I'm planning to non-rev LON-LAS in August. I understand that this is a very busy time of year, but has anyone got any suggestions, maybe from past experiences, on which is the best route to take? Any help would be much appreciated.

I wouldn't try VS, nearly always full on this route so you'd be likely to get bumped. Why not give BD a try LHR-MAN-LAS?

Not sure what kind of Non Rev ticket your flying on but UA has an embargo on most flights at this time of the year on Companion passes as they have no chance of getting on the flights.
You couldn't have picked a busier time. I flew a month ago on UA LHR-SFO-LAS, the flights were packed to the hilt, on both legs!
Good luck!

Maybe NW LGW-MSP-LAS. You get to play on a DC10 that way.

I've heard of luck with LHR-YYC-LAS on AC. August is going to be rather tough though.

The plus side is that just about everybody flies to vegas from everywhere, so as long as you can get to a hub in the US you shouldn't have too much trouble...
